ELIGIBLABILITY REQUIRMENTS FOR DEFENSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 01-2022

YOU MUST HAVE SIGNED UP THROUGH THE CITY OF HERNANDO COURT DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ATTENDING ANY DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSES

ADULTS ONLY (21 and older) …….All fines are to be paid in full at the time of sign up

(FINE + $10.00 COURT FEE, non-refundable if course not completed).

Approved with no prior tickets and/or attendance of a defensive driving course within the last three years from the date of the ticket

MINORS (20 and under) …………. Approved with no prior tickets and/or have attendance of a defensive driving course.  

• Upon completion of the program and the signed certificate returned to the court office by the deadline date ; the citation will be dismissed at a $50 fine paid to the City of Hernando Court Dept. 

DDS and ADDS classes are $50 due to the school upon your pre-registration.

CDL license holders are not eligible to take any Defensive Driving School programs

Due to COVID, all classes are done online at this time, all other guidelines still remain the same
